Are you looking to get involved or get your employees more involved?!

As members of the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, we spend a great deal of time networking and doing business with other members. It may come naturally to seasoned business men and women, but perhaps not so for a young professional. The Greater Rochester Young Professionals group (GRYP) was formed to create a casual environment for young professionals in the area ages 21 to 35 to meet and develop their networking skills. Additionally, these young professionals have the opportunity to learn about their community and opportunities to become more involved. Since GRYP is open to Chamber members and non-members, all employers are encouraged to let their young professionals know about the group! At the group’s monthly meeting (the third Tuesday each month) attendees will network and build rapport, discuss tips on creating good business habits and etiquette, enjoy tours of Rochester area businesses, or hear from guest speakers. Are you a young professional in the Rochester area looking to build your networking skills in a comfortable setting and grow your list of contacts? Are you a seasoned professional willing to share your experience with up and coming professionals while gaining exposure for your business? Contact the Chamber to learn more about visiting the Greater Rochester Young Professionals, especially if you would like to become a member or presenter at an upcoming meeting!

There are several Chamber committee that always welcome new faces! These committees meet monthly or bi-monthly and provide committee members an opportunity to reach out and connect with other Chamber members, network, stay informed on local and State legislative issues and plan events. -AMBASSADOR COMMITTEE -GOVERMENTAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE -GREATER ROCHESTER YOUNG PROFESSIONALS
