KIDS MINISTRY WANTED: People who are ready for some FUN and desire to be a part of introducing kids to God’s GREAT BIG love? Join ALIVE Kids team and say YES to kids! Preschool Small Group Leader Build relationships and care for kids (infants - 4 years old), create excitement and FUN, and lead hands-on activities to reinforce lesson. Commitment: twice per month, every other week; Available Positions: 8
Preschool On Call Sub Serve when small group leader is absent and functions in the role of small group leader. Commitment: as needed; Available Positions: 2
Computer Projection Load and operate the worship computer for displaying song lyrics, scriptures, videos, etc., for the worship service. Commitment: 30 min - 1 hour to load songs/worship elements into computer before Sunday morning (approx 30 min 1 hour); arrive early on Sunday for rehearsal, run-through, and service; Available Positions: 2 - 3 techs to start
Lighting and Video Operate the lighting console for the service, as well as the sermon video playback. Commitment: Arrive early on Sunday for rehearsal, run-through, and service; Available Positions: 2-3 techs to start
Sermon Video Runner Take the sermon recording from the Central campus at 9:30am directly to Pleasant View for playback there. Gas is provided for runner.
Elementary Small Group Leader Build relationships with K-5th graders, create excitement and FUN, and lead hands-on activities to reinforce lesson. Commitment: twice per month, every other week; Available Positions: 2 - 4
Sound Tech Run sound, lights, and media for Elementary worship experience. Load media content prior to Sunday morning. Commitment: twice per month, every other week; Available Positions: 2
Guest Services Host Welcome new kids and families to ALIVE Kids. Commitment: twice per month, every other week; Available Positions: 2
Prep Team Purchase and stock snacks, teaching/ small group supplies, and organize supplies for Sunday morning lessons. Commitment: weekly, prior to Sunday; Available Positions: 2
WORSHIP TECH WANTED: People to join this fun, behind-the-scenes team that help make the Gospel HEARD and SEEN with excellence!
WANTED: People to join this team of people that are excited about creating safe, welcoming environments for all guests of ALIVE. Custodial Team Be part of a team that cleans the building on a weekly basis, ideally to work in teams of 2. Men or women 12 years of age and up. Commitment: schedule tbd; Available Positions: 4-8
Grounds Team Be part of a team that cares for the landscaping, lawn, and parking lot areas, working in teams of 2. Men or women 16 years of age and up. Commitment: schedule tbd; Available Positions: 4-8
Safety Team
GUEST SERVICES WANTED: Individuals with a passion for creating an environment where spiritually hungry guests can discover a personal relationship with Jesus and an active role in Christian community.
Be part of a team that is responsible to provide a safe and secure environment for all services and activities, working in teams of 2. Men and women 18 years of age and up. A background check is required for this position. Commitment: schedule tbd; Available Positions: 4-8
Church Host/Hostess Automotive Directors (Parkers) Enthusiastic individuals who welcome guests as they drive onto our campus, and direct them to excellent parking spaces. Commitment: Every other week; Available Positions: 6
Java Enthusiast (Barista) Warmly serve guests by ensuring they are welcomed with a great cup of coffee. Value guests by creating a coffee shop environment that is maintained with excellence. Commitment: Every other week; Available Positions: 4
First Impressions (Greeters/Hosts) Proactively serve guests with fun and creativity. Be the first faces of ALIVE that serve by opening doors, giving tours and providing guests with needed information and smiles. Commitment: Every other week; Available Positions: 18
Sound Tech Run sound for services and worship team rehearsals. Commitment: 2 hours for weekday rehearsal; arrive early on Sunday for rehearsal, run-through, & service; Available Positions: 2-3 techs to start
BUILDING & GROUNDS
Serve as a host when special events are held on site such as weddings, memorial services, groups renting facilities, parties, etc. Men or women 18 years of age and up. Commitment: As Needed; Available Positions: 2-4
Training will be provided for all the above areas of service.
