Living a Missional Life Life Group Agenda for November 30 - December 6, 2014 Welcome (5 minutes) - Welcome everyone. This is a time for us to focus inward on our relationships with one another. Share the Goals and ONE Guideline at this time. Ice-Breaker (5 minutes) - Go around the group and let everyone answer the following question: 1. If you could go anywhere in the world on a mission trip, where would you go and what would you do? Worship (5 - 15 minutes) – This is a time for us to focus upward on our relationship with the Lord. Prepare a creative worship time that can be enjoyed by children, teens and adults. You will release the children to Kids’ Slot time after the worship. Word (45 - 55 Minutes) – Luke 14:15-24 2. Who is invited to the great banquet? Who have you personally invited to the banquet? 3. What are some reasons that we do not invite people to church or tell them about Jesus? 4. Who is someone that you need to invite to church, Life Group or talk to about Jesus this week? Read Luke 8:28-39 5. What did Jesus tell the man who was formerly demon possessed to do after he was freed from bondage? 6. Therefore what should we do in response to what the Lord has done for us? Read II Corinthians 5:18-20 7. What does it mean to be an ambassador of Christ? Is it obvious to others that your are a follower of Jesus, why or why not? 8. How can we as a group help provide healing and reconciliation to our families, neighborhoods, and communities? 9. The man freed from bondage by Jesus in Luke 8 was not qualified, super intelligent, or trained to teach the Word of God, but he stayed in his hometown and told everyone about Jesus. Take a look at Mark 5:1-20, Mark 7:31 and Mark 8:9a to see how the story ends. How awesome would it be if 4,000 plus people came to faith in Jesus because we told everyone about what Jesus has done in our lives? What is holding us back from realizing this big dream about the salvation of the city of New Orleans? (NOTE: Life Group leaders you may want to review Mark 5, 7 and 8 to have a good understanding of the Bible passages and how they connect.) 10. When would you like to see your Life Group multiply in 2015 to reach even more men, women, teenagers and children for Christ? (Life Group Leaders: this is a great opportunity for you to share Celebration’s vision, as well as, your own for what you’d like to see God do through you and the members of your Life Group.)

Prayer Time 11. In order to reach our city we are going to need more people sharing their faith with others, and discipling others, Celebration Church believes that the best way to disciple people is through the Life Group. 12. In order to reach these the Lord needs some of us to step up and lead a Life Group, remember you do not have to be a great theologian you just have to love Jesus and love people. Pray about possibly taking the Life Group Leadership Principles Class beginning January 14th. Witness (5 minutes) ● Next year there Celebration is planning mission trips all over the world! Talk to your Life Group about who would like to go and who would like to help send. For details on the mission trips go to: http://celebrationchurch.org/missions/ ● Don’t forget to enter your Life Group attendance this week and make sure to add the new folks that checked out your group.
