TITLE: Logistics Coordinator REPORTS TO:

Operations Management

POSITION PURPOSE/SUMMARY: This person’s primary responsibility is generation of waybills and fleet management liaison between customer and Union Pacific.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • • • • • • • • • • • •

Assists with Operations Management to develop weekly shipping forecasts Generates daily waybills of loaded cars ready for shipment, in accordance to shipping forecasts created by Management Enters/maintains weekly orders in Portal Amends orders as needed to waybills/shipping destinations and communicates changes to Accounting/Management Coordinates billing/shipping information for Railroads (UP/CN). Manages inventory of local rail yard’s incoming/outgoing railcars Generates daily railcar inventory reports to Management Maintains daily loading logs of shipped tons Communicates shipping needs/requirements between production and load-out facilities Manage on-site empty railcar inventory Must be self-motivated and flexible Performs other related duties as needed

WORKING CONDITIONS Work is performed in outside, sometimes wet, environment and frequently climb stairs. Employee may be subject to changing weather conditions, lifting objects up to 50 lbs, minor heights, and non-hazardous chemicals.
