Love is ​action​! “.​..God is love...This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” (​1 John 4:8-10) Biblical love= the ​sacrifice of self​. *Love demonstrated...in the Names of Jesus. The Good Shepherd- John 10:11 Love ​lays down​ its rights. Love ​protects​. Immanuel (God With Us)- Isaiah 7:14, Matt. 1:23 Love is ​present​- John 1:14 Son of Man- Mark 10:45, Phil. 2:6-8 Love ​serve​s. Man of Sorrows- Isaiah 53:3 Love​ suffers well ​and long. Lamb of God- John 1:29 Love ​sacrifices​. Romans 5:8- “​But God demonstrated His own love for us in this, while we were still sinners Christ DIED for us.​”

Isaiah 61:1-4 In the person of Jesus who IS the embodiment of LOVE… *​good news for the poor​- Love ​supplies and fills​. *​bind up the brokenhearted​- Love ​heals​ the broken places. *​proclaims liberty for the captives​- Love sets the ​prisoner free​. *​opening prison for those who are bound-​ Love ​releases​. *​proclaim the year of God’s favor and the day of vengeance for our God-​ Love​ restores favor​ and sets wrongs to ​right​. *​provides comfort for those who mourn-​ Love gives ​comfort​. *​brings beauty instead of ashes​- Love ​renews​. *​oil of gladness for mourning-​ Love brings ​rejoicing​. *​praise instead of a faint spirit​- Love ​restore​s. …”​That they might be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified​” -Love ​roots​ us and enables us to ​reflect​ His glory. …”​They shall build up the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former devastations; they shall repair the ruined cities, the devastation of many generations.​ ” -Love ​builds​....​repairs​...and ​restores others​.
