At a large commuter university with 40,000 students, transportation can amount to 18% of the school’s carbon footprint.3 Car sharing can help offset this number. Car sharing is not only a more sustainable transportation option. It also appeals to a new generation that wants immediate gratification, access to everything and the ability to experience products without (or before) buying them.

How it works • Sharing is completely self-service, and vehicles can be easily reserved and accessed 24 hours a day. • Alternative means of transportation, such as low-speed electric vehicles, are located in highly frequented areas, like parking lots and garages. • Rates are by the hour or per day. • Enterprise customers can combine options, like reserved parking spots/charging stations, mileage per day and roadside assistance, in the hourly and daily rates.

Make campus life easier for busy students. A college student needs to get supplies for class or run to a nearby supermarket. With car sharing, the student can locate a nearby vehicle and use an app to reserve it with her phone. She uses the car and returns it to a charging station when done. And she’s back in time for her next class.
