OVERVIEW OF PROGRAM (OFFERED ONLINE) Champlain’s Managing Innovation & Information Technology (MSMIIT) program focuses on the effective use of information technology from a management and decision-making perspective. The goal of the program is not to teach you the new technology, but to teach you how to manage it.
THE WALTER CERF MASTER OF SCIENCE IN
MANAGING INNOVATION & INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY Our MSMIIT program represents the perfect management education approach for business leaders who want to understand the IT aspects of their organization without getting into unnecessary technical learning and applications. Likewise, the MSMIIT program is for IT leaders who want to understand the management principles at work behind the decision-making aspect of their companies, but don’t need or want courses that are micro-focused on the particulars of operations management. Through the Champlain MSMIIT program, you will gain a broad understanding of all aspects of how leaders can bring every functional level of an enterprise together through the implementation of innovative technology. The program focuses on the major areas of technological innovation likely to have a direct impact on business, where the new technology will come from, and how it could influence the opportunities for your organization and your career. You’ll find that your Champlain MSMIIT degree will deliver lasting knowledge that will inform and affect your performance on the job, enable you to use information technology creatively and strategically, and develop your ability to be a perpetual learner and a truly resourceful, adaptive leader.
