Marketing Coordinator, Fraser International College, Burnaby, BC, Canada Full-time, Ongoing Navitas is a diversified global education provider that offers an extensive range of educational services for students and professionals including university programs, English language training and settlement services, creative media education, workforce education and student recruitment. Fraser International College (FIC), in partnership with Simon Fraser University, offers university pathway programs to international students and is based on the campus of Simon Fraser University in Burnaby. FIC is managed by Navitas Limited with colleges in Canada, Australia, Singapore, Zambia, Lusaka, Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom.
Position Purpose The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for new student recruitment and the implementation of the marketing and recruitment plans for specific markets. You will have background in sales/marketing/customer service, strong multi-tasking abilities, good time management and excellent communication skills. You will be reporting to the Marketing Manager at Fraser International College (FIC) and working closely with the College Director / Principal, Marketing Director and Team, and Senior Admissions Manager.
Key Responsibilities •
Carry out student recruitment activities in specific markets
•
Coordinate the conversion process for new students
•
Develop and maintain good relationships with the FIC agent network.
•
Recommend the appointment of appropriate agents for FIC
•
Coordinate with in country staff where appropriate
•
Liaise with people in numerous international time zones
•
Provide feedback and reports to the Marketing Manager regarding market conditions, competition and other factors which may be relevant to the development of the FIC marketing strategy.
•
Liaise with the Admissions team, particularly on student conversion, and assist Admissions when required.
•
Prepare statistical reports as required
•
Implement strategies for conversion and retention of students
•
Support the e-Marketing, Customer Relationship Management and Communications strategy
•
Implement advertising, social media, and promotions strategies
•
Travel to markets identified as target countries
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience •
Undergraduate degree and/or suitable sales/marketing/customer service experience
•
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
•
Highly developed interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
•
Demonstrated experience in the use of technology to underpin marketing strategies and increase student numbers
•
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team to ensure that FIC targets are met
•
Valid passport and ability to travel internationally for up to 16 weeks per year
•
At least three years’ experience in a sales/marketing/customer service capacity
•
Legal right to work in Canada
