Ms. Miranda’s Zebra Class Dear Parents,

As we go into the month of May we will experience many opportunities to review the many things that we have learned throughout the school year. We will enjoy Water Discovery Days during the third week of May 14-18. A schedule will be posted indicating the dates that our class will have water play, Please send your child to school in their swimsuit and sunscreen/bug spray already applied on those dates. Please send your child with dry clothes and a towel to change into and please label all of their items. May 4 we will observe the National Day of Prayer. We will meet at the flagpole at 9:10am to pray. We invite all parents to come and join us for this event. Our last Parent Chapel will be on May 9 at 11am. We are inviting all parents to end this year by praising the Lord with us. Teacher Appreciation Week will be during the second week of May. The Day One Christian Academy Year End Program will be Thursday the 24th. Mrs. Mouton is planning a very fun and exciting program. She will be providing the costumes, students will just need to wear jean bottoms the night of the program. We are inviting all of our families to come for dinner at 5:30pm and all children ready for the program outside the worship center by 6:15pm. We will go back to the classroom following the program where you all will receive your child's scrapbook. The last day of school this year will be Friday, the 25th. The school will be closed on Monday, the 28th for Memorial Day.

It has been my privilege to be your child’s teacher this school year. I believe we have experienced some meaningful memories that will leave a lasting impression on all of us. My prayers will always be with you all and this is not a goodbye for me because I know that we will see each other soon. Please have a safe and enjoyable summer.
