Ecclesia John 21:4-7, 15-19 4

Early in the morning, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not realise that it was Jesus. 5 He called out to them, “Friends, haven’t you any fish?” “No,” they answered. 6 He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some. ”When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish. 7 Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” As soon as Simon Peter heard him say, “It is the Lord,” he wrapped his outer garment around him (for he had taken it off) and jumped into the water.

Island Youth Summer Plans Here is where God is leading us this summer, so you can have the chance to partner with us in prayer and possibly join us! This summer, God has called us to follow Him on an adventure, exploring new territory, doing things we've never done before. What better way, as a ministry, to respond to God's love, healing and transformation in our lives than to share it with others? If you would like to be involved with any of the activities below or would like to support us in prayer, please email us at [email protected].

June 5. Music & Film Premiere Fundraiser. Following the 5pm service, Island Youth will be hosting a Music & Film Premiere Fundraiser to benefit Almond Tree Films Rwanda with music by Island Youth and a film by Almond Tree Films Rwanda. Wine and canapés to be served. Tickets are HK$150 at the door.

When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love Me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed My lambs.” 16 Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love Me?” He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Take care of My sheep.” 17 The third time He said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love Me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love Me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed My sheep. 18 Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.” 19 Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. Then He said to him, “Follow Me!”

2 Corinthians 6:11-13

June 18 - July 2. Rwanda. Island Youth will be travelling to Rwanda to spend time encouraging, worshipping with, sharing our testimonies with and praying for the people of Rwanda. Pray for us as we witness and help bring God's redemption to the nation of Rwanda. We are at capacity for this trip, but would love your prayers of protection and power for the students and leaders.

July 15 - 20. Gateway. As the nations and the generations converge, the adventure comes alive with an exciting five-day camp in Hong Kong, packed with exciting rallies, multicultural worship and intercession, practical workshops, team dynamics, fellowship and fun. Through these, you will discover more about God’s character and about your own calling and destiny. Join us for an incredible time of equipping at Gateway Camp. There are still spots available, but you must register this week! All ages are invited.

We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians, and opened wide our hearts to you. We are not withholding our affection from you, but you are withholding yours from us. 13 As a fair exchange—I speak as to my children—open wide your hearts also. 12

John 15:15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from My Father I have made known to you.

July 25 - 29. Local Outreach. Join us as we serve one of the most neglected communities in Hong Kong. Over the course of five days, we will run a children's day camp and evening outreach events, sharing the good news of Christ and trusting God to produce transformation in families. You don't need to get on a plane to do missions; your city is your mission field. Let God open your eyes to the brokenness around you, so that you can witness His power at work. Join us as we reach out to those in need right here in our backyard. Individuals and families are invited. Those serving here are highly encouraged to join us for Gateway Camp.
