Merry Christmas & Happy New Year From Your Church Staff

As I write this brief article, my heart is filled with gratitude and joy! What a privilege it has been to serve as your Pastor another year. Maryjane and I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and look forward to a Happy New Year. I want to encourage you to be present this coming Sunday evening for our annual Candlelight Lord’s Supper Service. This is always a very touching experience, one of the highlights of the Christmas season. Afterwards we will have a festive time of fellowship. Hope to see you here! Dr. Hawley Patti & I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! It hardly seems possible that we have shared this very special time of year with you all for over 10 years! What a wonderful and loving family you have been and continue to be. When we celebrated our tenth anniversary a couple of months ago, we were honored and humbled by your outpouring of love and support. I am so grateful for the encouragement and love you so freely and generously give—a true indication of the love of God at work. We pray that God will richly bless each of you and your families this Christmas with His loving presence. Don’t forget our Candlelight Lord’s Supper and Churchwide Fellowship this Sunday. Please bring your favorite finger foods as we have this wonderful time of fellowship following the Lord’s Supper Service.

Bro. Sam

Getting into the Christmas mood for me starts with learning Christmas music. Hopefully the music that has been presented the past few weeks has gotten you into the true Christmas spirit. However, the most meaningful part of Christmas is being able to worship our Savior each week with our Emmanuel family. Lynda and I wish each of you a very special Merry Christmas and a blessed new year. Robert Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us in the Student Ministry and from Renee, Brooke, Blake and myself. My family and I have truly enjoyed being a part of your family and look forward to the great things God has in store for all of us at Emmanuel. I also would like to say a special thank you to everyone who has helped with our Live Nativity this season!

Adron “And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came with packages, boxes and bags. And he puzzled and puzzled till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store? What if Christmas perhaps, means a little bit more.” Dr. Seuss May you fully realize the gifts you have already been given and celebrate Christmas in your heart each and every day.
