“Mission” Luke​ ​10:1-3

1. Have​ ​you​ ​ever​ ​thought​ ​about​ ​your​ ​mission​ ​in​ ​life?​ ​What​ ​would​ ​you​ ​say​ ​has​ ​been​ ​the​ ​mission of​ ​most​ ​of​ ​your​ ​life?​ ​How​ ​have​ ​you​ ​gone​ ​about​ ​fulfilling​ ​that​ ​mission?

2. What​ ​was​ ​Jesus’​ ​mission​ ​while​ ​here​ ​on​ ​earth​ ​(See​ ​Mark​ ​1:14-15)?

3. According​ ​to​ ​Luke​ ​10:1​ ​living​ ​out​ ​the​ ​mission​ ​of​ ​Jesus​ ​was​ ​never​ ​meant​ ​to​ ​be​ ​for​ ​a​ ​select few.​ ​Why​ ​do​ ​you​ ​think​ ​so​ ​many​ ​Christians​ ​struggle​ ​with​ ​living​ ​out​ ​the​ ​mission​ ​to​ ​proclaim​ ​the kingdom​ ​of​ ​God?

4. What​ ​does​ ​it​ ​mean​ ​that​ ​the​ ​harvest​ ​is​ ​plentiful?​ ​Why​ ​do​ ​you​ ​think​ ​that​ ​the​ ​laborers​ ​are​ ​few (See​ ​Luke​ ​10:2)?

5. What​ ​risks​ ​might​ ​there​ ​be​ ​in​ ​living​ ​one’s​ ​life​ ​on​ ​mission​ ​to​ ​proclaim​ ​the​ ​kingdom​ ​of​ ​God​ ​(See Luke​ ​10:3)?​ ​How​ ​does​ ​being​ ​sent​ ​out​ ​by​ ​Jesus,​ ​the​ ​Good​ ​Shepherd,​ ​give​ ​us​ ​hope?

6. What​ ​are​ ​some​ ​way​ ​that​ ​you​ ​could​ ​practically​ ​live​ ​out​ ​your​ ​mission​ ​to​ ​proclaim​ ​the​ ​kingdom of​ ​God?​ ​How​ ​can​ ​you​ ​see​ ​yourself​ ​as​ ​a​ ​discipler?​ ​In​ ​what​ ​ways​ ​have​ ​you​ ​ever​ ​seen​ ​where God​ ​is​ ​working​ ​and​ ​joined​ ​Him​ ​in​ ​that​ ​work?​ ​Where​ ​might​ ​God​ ​be​ ​leading​ ​you​ ​to​ ​make​ ​the kingdom​ ​of​ ​God​ ​known?
