Most of us have very little personal experience with royalty. Last month, someone from Calvary had a oncein-a-lifetime opportunity to go to the Easter Service in the small chapel at Windsor Castle with Elizabeth, Queen of England. That deserves a dignified wow, don’t you think?

It used to be said that the sun never set on the British Empire with its colonies all over the world. The expansive reach of that Empire altered world history. But that impact is small compared to the Kingdom of God. God’s kingdom spans millenniums and He guarantees its future. Jesus had big plans for the kingdom that have already turned us inside-out. How are we invested in those plans today? Parables and the kingdom of God:

Where have you seen these kingdoms thriving? 2. To what does “the kingdom of God” refer? 3. Why did Jesus use parables to describe the Kingdom of God? How have they helped you get your mind and heart around it? Which parable, among the many, has God used to change your life? 4. How does the growth of the mustard seed describe your relationship with Jesus? How is it analogous to our progress as a church and ministry? What are some of our very real kingdom values? 5. Yeast permeates all of the dough. It changes everything from the inside. The kingdom of God likewise has amazing transforming power. It changes lives.
