NEW CEO FOR RESPONSIBLE GAMBLING FOUNDATION Senior executive Louise Glanville has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation (VRGF). Her appointment comes after an extensive national executive search and competitive selection process to secure the best leader for the VRGF over the next five years. Ms Glanville will commence her role on 30 May, 2017. Currently the Deputy CEO of the National Disability Insurance Agency, she has played a key leadership role in the trial period of the National Disability Insurance Scheme and its transition to the full scheme. An expert in social and legal policy and with qualifications in law and social work, Ms Glanville has worked for the Victorian Public Advocate and was inaugural Director of Victoria’s Neighbourhood Justice Centre. Throughout her career, she has been a strong advocate for people with disabilities and those in the community who experience disadvantage. The VRGF works to help people experiencing gambling harm, their friends and family, as well as increase awareness in the broader community about gambling responsibly. The Andrews Labor Government has provided $148 million over four years to support its work through community awareness campaigns in schools, with sporting clubs and community organisations. The Foundation also runs the Gambler’s Help counselling services accessed online, over the phone and in 108 locations across Victoria.
