Dear Parents: Thank you for your interest in our school. We have adopted an admissions policy that opens the school to families who are like-minded spiritually, who are supportive of our philosophy, objectives and standards of education, and whose children meet our enrollment standards. Our purpose is to serve families who desire not simply a private education, but a distinctively Christian education for their children. Our religious purpose, mission and beliefs are in alignment and governed by the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. This school unashamedly believes, teaches and practices a literal interpretation of the Word of God. If you do not agree with our religious mission and beliefs, enrolling your child in our school will likely cause him or her confusion. For example, if a question regarding biblical lifestyles arise in school, the teacher will answer from a biblical viewpoint consistent with our mission and belief statement. This viewpoint may not be consistent with that of your home, thus creating a wedge in the partnership between the school and home. We respect your desire to place your child in the best possible learning environment, but if you are not in full agreement with our doctrinal positions, it will be best for all concerned if you do not enroll your child at our school. Biblical principals are integrated into every subject taught at our school. Our staff is committed not only to academic excellence, but also to teaching students how to apply the truths of God’s Word to every aspect of life. If you are in agreement with the teachings of God’s Word according to the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, then this school will complement the beliefs and ideals your child is taught at home. Payments are due every 1st of the month; however, you have until the 5th of the month to turn in your full payment. Any payments received after the 5th of each month will be considered late and be charged a $25 late fee. If you have more than one child attending New Hope Christian School, we offer a sibling discount of $65 off your second child’s monthly tuition (this does not include Early or After School Care). If you wish to pay your child’s tuition and fees in full, you may do so by August 30, 2016 and receive 10% off your tuition costs, making your child’s last month of school tuition waived. PAYMENT OPTIONS We offer four convenient ways for you to make your payments: Check, Credit/Debit Card, Online, and on our mobile app. Absolutely NO CASH can be accepted. 5
A) Checks 1. Please make all checks Payable to: New Hope Christian School 2. Under “For/Memo”, please include your Child(s) first and last name and what charge(s) your payment is for. (Ex: John Smith: $650 May tuition and $50 Early Care) B) Giving Kiosk (located in our Waipahu and Kapolei Campus foyer) 1. Click on the screen “make a donation” 2. Enter your phone number (area code first). Please do not select “Give Anonymously” or else we will not be able to distinguish your payment 3. Select your name. If your name does not appear, then please register as a new member by clicking “Register” on the bottom right corner of the screen 4. To register your account, enter in your phone number, first and last name, password, and confirm password. When you are done, select “continue”. Next, enter your email and mailing address, and select continue. It is very important that you include an email address so you can receive your payment confirmation receipts. 5. Designate your donation by selecting the second box labeled “Christian School (Tuition & Fees ONLY)” and then entering your amount using the number key pad. Verify the total amount on the bottom of the screen, and select “continue” 6. Confirm one more time that your payment was properly allocated to the Christian School and your total payment. Slide your card below to make your payment 7. A thank you message will appear and will ask “Do you want to add a message?”, therefore always select “YES” to add a message. In your message, please include your child(s) name, payment amount if you are doing split payments for different charges, and what the payment is for (Ex: John Smith; $650 May Tuition and $50 Early Care) Once you are done adding your message, click “Confirm” 8. A thank you message will appear on the screen and a confirmation receipt will be emailed to you, therefore, click “Exit”. 9. If you wish to update your email or other personal information, select “update info” 10. Log onto your email that you have set-up with your account on the Kiosk, and look for messages from
[email protected] to retrieve your confirmation receipts of your payments. C) Paying Online & Setting up Automatic Payments 1. Log onto https://my.newhopeleeward.org/portal/online_giving.aspx 2. Click on the top right “Login” and sign-in with your username and password. If you do not have an account or need to reset it, click on “Create Account” or “Reset Account” on the bottom. Please do not select “anonymous” or we will not be able to track your payments and credit your account. 3. Select the campus in the drop down box “Waipahu campus” 4. Select the designation in the drop box “Christian School Tuition” 6
5. Input the amount of your payment. Check off which frequency you would like your payments to be made (One-time gift, weekly, or monthly) and click “next”. 6. Verify your information, then click “next” 7. Complete your billing information then click “complete transaction”. D. New Hope Leeward Church App & Setting up Automatic Payments (iPhones and Androids only) 1. Download the “New Hope Leeward Church App” from your mobile app 2. Select on the bottom right “Church Info” 3. Select “Give” 4. Login to your account using your phone number and password (This would be the same phone number and password you use on the Giving Kiosk or when you pay online). If you forgot your password or do not have an account, click on “Create an Account” or “Forgot Password?” 5. To create an Account, enter your name, mailing address, email, and password. It is very important that you include an email address so you can receive your payment confirmation receipts. 6. Once your log in, select if you want to make a “one time donation” or a “recurring donation”, then click next 7. Enter the amount you wish to pay under “Christian School (Tuition & Fees ONLY)”
SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE New Hope Christian School currently does not offer financial assistance, however we do accept the following for your child’s tuition: * Kamehameha Kipona Scholarship All students who are awarded financial assistance for the 2016-2017 school year must provide a copy of their award letter as scholarships and subsidies will be paid out monthly. You are responsible for the remaining balance (if any) not covered by your scholarship and subsidy, which will be your monthly parent portion. Scholarships and subsidies only apply to your monthly tuition and not early or after school care, enrollment fees or late fees. If a copy of the award letter is not received by your child’s first day of school, you will be responsible for the full monthly tuition. Any changes to your award amount must be submitted immediately to avoid late fees and/or disenrollment.
