discussion questions 1. In the new heavens and the new earth, what part of the restoration process are you most looking forward to? 2. Recognizing that our good works have an eternal glory (Daniel 12:3), what does it look like to act with wisdom and to turn people to righteousness? 3. Talk together about God being the righteous judge (Revelation 20:11–15). What role does the justifying blood of Christ have in relation to judgment? What role do our righteous or unrighteous actions have? (See Matthew 25:31–46, Ephesians 2:8–10, 1 Thessalonians 5:8–10, 2 Corinthians 5:9–10.) 4. Take time to pray for the church (globally and locally), that we would be found faithful during times of trial as the day of Jesus’ return draws near. 5. Read Revelation 19:1–16. Use the songs of praise and the names you read there as fuel for a time of praise through prayer. Close your time by singing a worship song together. Message notes available at newhopechurchmn.org/messages. July 31: Psalm 72: Victorious Lion, Humble Lamb. That’s My King!, Pastor Jeff McCourt
