General Announcements
Reading is an integral part of our culture here at IDEA Mission. Students are encouraged to have a book with them at all times and to read at least 30 minutes every day. Students are already reading for 15 minutes during homeroom, but we need your help once students get home. Have your son or daughter read once other homework is complete, and ask them questions about what they are reading. By encouraging your child to read at home, you are helping to increase your child’s chance of success in school, college, and beyond. Thank you for your involvement! 9th grade team is proud to announce that Maria Leon is always more than ready to learn! She is always well prepared for class and gives "No Excuses" in all of her classes. Keep up the great work Maria!
11th grade would like to recognize Jose Romero for having the highest score on IA1 in AP English! Way to give 100% Everyday!
The 10th Grade Team has chosen Yazmin Ramos as the Student of the Week. Yazmin wholeheartedly deserves this recognition for her exemplar performance at IDEA Mission. While Yazmin excels in her academics, she still demonstrates the "Whatever It Takes" value by not settling for a good grade, but ensuring she's truly mastered the content. She also ensures that her peers are focused and succeeding in their classes. Congratulations Yazmin Ramos, and keep up the good work!
