Location: On Long Island Sound on the west bank of the Connecticut River at its mouth. Area: 18.3 square miles. Population: 10,160 (est. 2015). Government: Selectmen, Town Meeting, Board of Finance, Town Hall (F4). Public Safety: Police Department; Volunteer Fire Depart ment; Volunteer Ambulance Association (membership). Health Services: Public Health Nursing Service. Industry: Many manufacturing establishments, covering a wide range of products–boat building and repair, commer cial printing, furniture, intercoms, photo reproduction equip
