Prayer Prompt: The ongoing war in Syria and rise of ISIS in Iraq have created the largest refugee crisis in history, forcing more than 4 million Christians from their homes. Their burdens are not meant to be carried alone. We want to see persecuted Christians experience fellowship with the Body of Christ as their needs are met and find renewed strength to follow Christ. Please pray for these brothers and sisters in Christ.

welcome

July 14, 2019

Welcome to Westminster Baptist Church (WBC) this wonderful Sunday morning. We’re so glad you have chosen to worship with us. Today we continue our series on the Passion of God. Genesis reveals God’s passion for people from the very beginning of time. God’s desire for a relationship with individuals began with the creation of mankind and continues today. I trust you have experienced the passion of God through a personal relationship with Him. If you are a guest, we extend a very special welcome to you and hope that you will find WBC a place to belong in God’s family. Our prayer is that you will find encouragement from God’s Word. Please be sure to stop by CONNECT CENTRAL after the service to visit with us and say hello. Blessings to you, Pastor Dave.

Summer is here and with it summer vacations are being planned. Remember, our church continues to operate year round...regardless of your plans. We’re praying for your safe travels and God’s blessings! Pastor Search Team - Please keep this team in your prayers as they seek God’s will for the future of our church. The Blake Family - If you wish to make a monetary gift to help with medical expenses for the Blake Family, a designated fund has been approved and set up. Please mark your envelope and your check ‘Blake Fund’ and it will be recorded and channeled into the proper fund. If you would like to supply a meal for the family, please call Tonya Sawyer at (864)723-2686 or e-mail her at [email protected]. If you have helped with food, please check the Fellowship Hall for your dishes. The Blakes want to express their heartfelt thank you to all who have helped them through this battle so far. The meals, gift cards, phone calls, visits, cards, and monetary donations have meant more than all of you can imagine. The love and support of their church family has been a great encouragement to them. Thank you for your expressions of love and support during my recent surgery and my continuing recovery from complications. The flowers, cards, and calls are encouraging and mean so very much. I ask for your continued prayers for healing, and look forward to being able to worship with you again soon. Much love, Delilah Stutts
