Call to Confession Silent Prayers of Confession Prayers of the Day and the Lord’s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. “A Home of Grace”

ARR. MARTIN

O, thank you, Lord, for family, how precious your design. That through the gift of parents we know your love divine. They lead us and they teach us. They help us find our place. And working all together, we build a home of grace. O, thank you, Lord, for family, no two of them the same. For all who care for children though never share their name. O, teach us, Lord, compassion and help us grow our faith, ‘til every home is cherished and built upon your grace. O, thank you, Lord, for family. This is our earnest prayer for mothers and for fathers, for the hearts of all who care. And though sometimes imperfect and though we lose our way, Today we pledge and promise to build a home of grace. Scripture Readings

1 Kings 2:1-4 (Contemporary English Version)

SUMMER SERVE DATES

+Affirmation of Faith (unison)

-TUE//JULY 3: Charlotte Men's Shelter (time TBD)

The Apostles’ Creed I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. He descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen. +Hymn # 581

It’s cool to be kind!! We're excited to announce that our Backpacks of Love program is growing! If you've ever been concerned about what our Backpacks kids do for food during the weekends over the summer, now you can help meet their nutritional needs just like you do during the school year. We're continuing the program throughout CMS's summer break, so please keep those food donations coming! We're especially in need of vegetables and Pop Tarts this week. Thank you for your continued generosity!
