Project PIECE
The College of Education and the Teaching Research Institute at Western Oregon University (WOU) have been awarded a five-‐year grant from the U.S. Department of Education Office of Special Education Programs to provide training and support for early childhood educators so they can get a bachelor's degree with a teaching authorization in early childhood, as well as an endorsement in early intervention/early childhood special education.

teach in Head Start, child care, Family Building Blocks, or Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education, and you want to get your teaching license?

want to teach in inclusive early childhood settings?
•
want early childhood faculty who support & mentor you as you move through the program?

want to teach children between the ages of birth-‐nine? want to make a difference in the lives of young children and their families?
Are you interested in: •
participating in a project that will give you substantial financial assistance (scholarships) to take classes & complete your teaching authorization & Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education endorsement?
