MISSION: Sew and tie quilts for various missions, including El Salvador and India. ACTIVITIES AND CONTACTS:
Cut squares to be sewn together for the quilt top Sew 10 inch fabric squares together to make a 60 inch by 80 inch quilt top Add backing to the quilt (which can be fabric or a sheet) Tie the quilt in various locations to bind the front and back together In 2015 and 2016 over 100 quilts were made for Lutheran World Relief. The quilts were given to refugees and people in need
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
Donate cotton fabric and sheets (clean, used, or new sheets – size full or larger) Cut squares for the quilt tops Sew the squares for the quilt top Tie the mission quilt – no sewing experience is necessary
