What we need in order to be equipped for works of service:     

A vision of the now available Kingdom that is actionable (Apostle)

Awareness of the gap between what is and what God wants to be (Prophet) Jesus first in everything Authentic fellowship

A biblical worldview that gives understanding

What being equipped looks like: so that the body of Christ may be built up Ephesians 4:12 NIV until we all reach unity in the faith Ephesians 4:13 NIV

and in the knowledge of the Son of God Ephesians 4:13 NIV

and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ Ephesians 4:13 NIV
