WEEK OF NOVEMBER 25 - DECEMBER 1, 2018 Principal's Message - Happy Thanksgiving! Pumpkin Pie! All of my students know that Mr. Ross's favorite thing during this time of year is Pumpkin avored anything! So, I am thankful for special things like "pumpkin avor" at certain times of the year that make it different and unique. That, in terms, helps me to be thankful for times to slow down and relax, like Thursday and Friday. I get to eat some delicious homemade food, relax with loved ones, and sleep in. These times don't always come around and it makes this time of year very special. Being thankful for these things leads me to be thankful for my entire life. I can sit back and re ect on how the Lord has blessed me. I think about those things I described two weeks ago in my message. I hope, at this time of year, those special little things lead you to be thankful for life, just like it does for me. Enjoy your time with family and friends and other loved ones! Happy Thanksgiving from everyone here at Reformation Lutheran! Mr. Ross

Grades 3-8 Soccer Day On Friday, November 30th, grades 3-8 will be traveling up to Temecula to participate in our annual WELS Schools Soccer Day. This is a wonderful opportunity to participate in friendly competition in a stress-free environment. The children will be mixed up with students from our other area WELS schools to make numerous teams. Each team will play a few games throughout the day. Students will need to bring a sack lunch and plenty of water and any sunscreen for the entire day. As this is a eld trip, we need many volunteers from grades 3-8 to drive and help with supervision during that day. Please also ll out this form below if you are able to drive. Please speak with Mr. Ash, Mr. Ross or Mr. Bohl if you are willing to help out.

#RefTechTips Giving Tuesday uses the collective power of social media to inspire people to take action to improve their communities, give back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes they believe in, like Christian schools, and help create a better world. Giving Tuesday demonstrates how every act of generosity counts, and that they mean even more when we give together. Anyone, anywhere can get involved in Giving Tuesday and give back in a way that is meaningful to them. From donating to volunteering to pro bono services, #GivingTuesday is a great way to engage in supporting the ministry of Reformation and become part of a larger movement as we encourage self-less generosity in this world of sel shness, ESPECIALLY at this time of year when we celebrate the greatest gift of all! YOU are part of making this movement a reality. As people obsess over getting in lines on Black Friday and getting the best deals on Cyber Monday, we encourage you to think about what is important to you. We hope that your church, the growth of the kingdom of God and, yes, Reformation Lutheran School and Christian education are on that list.
