Christmas Poinsettias Each year the RBCPC Flower Guild purchases these spectacular plants to honor or remember loved ones.The donations, a minimum of $10.00 per plant, are used for church holiday decorations with the surplus given to the Deacons for outreach programs. RBCPC High School Ministry headed north for mission work in the San Francisco/Oakland area.The students in partnership with Center for Student Missions served the community in many different ways, from preparing pre-packaged meals for the terminally ill, tutoring underprivileged children, spending time with dementia patients, serving food to the homeless, working at the Salvation Army, passing out hygiene packets to those in need on the streets, and many, many more.This was an opportunity to show the love of Christ and give dignity to anyone experiencing hardship going into this holiday season. Operation Christmas Child RBCPC contributed 628 shoe boxes this year, which will be added to over 8 million shoe boxes being sent out worldwide. Our shoe boxes are destined for children in Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, Mongolia, Nepal, Peru and the Philippines. Please pray that each child who receives a shoe box will be touched in a very special, meaningful way and that their lives may become transformed through learning about Jesus and, hopefully, asking Him into their hearts.This may be the only opportunity they ever have to hear the Gospel message.
