A promise is a statement of specific truth stated in absolute and specific terms. A proverb is a statement of general truth stated in general terms.
Good parenting does not “guarantee” good kids. Healthy parenting significantly helps kids to become healthy adults. “Training up” a child: 1. Be the example 2. Stay connected 3. Be the expert 4. Let them fail 5.
