Reminder: State Minimum Wage Adjustment To
$9.50/Hour August 1 The last incremental increase to the state minimum wage law enacted in 2014 will take effect on August 1st, 2016. The law will now require large employers to pay at least $9.50 an hour and small employers to pay a minimum rate of $7.75 an hour. The next increase (due to inflation indexing) is scheduled to begin January 1, 2018. Under current law, employees must be paid the minimum wage rate plus any tips that employee may earn.

Community Leadership Training at its best! This nine month (September through May) program is designed to develop leadership potential while learning about the Elk River area community.
