Safety of Flight (SOF) Testing Services for Signal Processor 2 Application GTRI is developing a product, referred to as Signal Processor 2 (SP2), that performs signal processing functions for an airborne military application. SP2 is a module that houses several Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs). One CCA, referred to as the Communications CCA, has been redesigned. The new CCA replaces the legacy version in the SP2. The other CCAs in SP2 remain installed and unchanged. The upgraded SP2 needs to be subjected to selected MIL-STD810 environmental and MIL-STD-461 EMI as part of Safety of Flight (SOF) testing as part of an existing USAF funded development program. Requirement The selected vendor will perform environmental and EMI testing for SP2 per the list of tests bulleted below. The target test window is 1 May 2014 through 30 June 2014. One fully functional SP2 will be available for this effort and will be used for RE102 testing. A separate SP2 chassis will be provided to mount the CCA in for environmental testing. An external test fixture will be provided by GTRI that will provide power and monitoring for the SP2 chassis during environmental testing. SP1 will be classified confidential for RE102 testing. For RE102 testing, it is anticipated that one complete test sequence will need to be performed for both the upgraded and the baseline configurations. All equipment required for environmental testing will be unclassified. GTRI and/or US government engineers will need to witness some/all of this testing. The tests required will be: 

High Temperature Operation (Per MIL-STD-810G, Method 501.5, Procedure II)

Low Temperature Operation (Per MIL-STD-810G, Method 502.5, Procedure II)

Vibration (Per MIL-STD-810G, Method 514.6, Procedure I)

Explosive Atmosphere (Per MIL-STD-810G, Method 511.5, Procedure I)

Radiated Emissions (Per MIL-STD-461F, RE102)

Response Please respond with:  Price and resource availability for SOF testing per the attached SOF test plan  Labor cost (e.g. cost per hour or day) for troubleshooting at the facility in the event an issue needs to be investigated on site  Alternative timeframes for resource availability if the desired test timeframe is not feasible
