Main Point: The purpose of the mission is the glory of God.
The LORD God purposefully and graciously makes Himself known among all nations. •

God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, Selah
Has God been gracious to us, blessed us and made his face to shine upon us? o John 1:14-17 o 2 Corinthians 4:6 Why has God been gracious toward us in Christ? •

your way may be known on earth, your saving power among all nations. Acts 1:8, 28:28
Why does God desire to make his saving power known among the nations? Why the mission?
The LORD God purposefully and graciously makes Himself known among all nations so that the peoples will praise Him with joy and gladness. •

the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you!
How will the peoples come to praise God? o Romans 10:13-17 •

the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you judge the peoples with equity and guide the nations upon earth. Selah 5Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you! o Philippians 2:5-11
So What? Worship fuels the mission. o Psalm 57:9-10 Worship culminates the mission. o Revelation 7:9-10 The mission continues through us when God’s purpose is our purpose. o Romans 15:8-13
