The world has distorted the purpose of human sexuality. Sexual sin is rampant outside the church and inside the church.   •Heterosexual and Homosexual We need to stop weighing sins. All sin is offensive to God. The Gospel is for heterosexual sinners and homosexual sinners who trust in Jesus Christ alone.   •Some of us say: “I can’t approve of what you are doing, so I will reject you or change you.”   •Some of us say: “I want you to approve of me, so I guess I will approve of you.”   •The Gospel says: “Because of the finished work of Christ, I love you too much to let you redefine love, but I love you too much to walk away in judgement. I will lean in with grace.” If we are going to say “Love the sinner and hate the sin”, then let’s make sure we truly love all sinners and hate sin, including our own. The tragedy today is that the world knows more about what the church is against than what we are for.
