Faith Mission Update and Other Opportunities to Serve Faith Mission Meals: On Sept. 2, 21 individuals/families donated food & 15 gave the manpower to prepare and serve lunch of ham macaroni salad, buttered bread, grapes and sundaes to about 150 at Faith Mission. Our next dinner will be Oct. 1. There are still servers needed. We continue to collect for the Christmas gifts for the homeless at Faith Men's Shelter. There is a list of needed items on the credenzas and also baskets underneath to place your donations in. Stephen Ministry is sponsoring a gently used/new winter coat and boot drive for Faith Shelters. When cleaning out your closets this Fall, this is a good way to put those coats you no longer wear to good use. There will be a coat rack available to put them on starting next week. LWML: The service project for the next LWML meeting on November 9 is tying off fleece scarves to donate to Faith Mission. We will need fleece fabric in masculine colors to put these together. Check out the LWML table next week for more information and plan to come help us tie some knots!
