D-Group Worship Night, 6-7:30pm As the school year winds down both Herd and Crash discipleship students are invited to a unique night of worship, prayer, and fellowship. OH! Dessert may or may not be served!
HERD Work Week Every year we join Central Detroit Christian to serve in the New Center neighborhood. We will stay in the city, help rejuvenate the neighborhood, and learn about ministry in Detroit. Applications go out May 16 and are due June 6.
CRASH Detroit Ministry Week Detroit Ministry Week - Every year we take a team of students to partner with Central Detroit Christian, a community development corporation in the New Center neighborhood. We will help run a kids camp and do work projects on the homes in the area that have owners who need assistance. We’ve developed a close relationship with CDC and really value this week of serving ever year. The applications for the week will be available May 16th and they are DUE June 6th. The week we will be serving is July 15-21.

Summer Kick Off, 6:30-8:30 pm, $5 Let’s get the summer started off right by hanging out at the Southfield Civic Center, grilling out, and relaxing because SUMMER IS HERE! Pick up and drop off will be at the Civic Center. HERD Munchy Mondays, 11am-2pm, $10 Throughout the summer we will meet at the church, carpool to lunch, and play games at the church. If your student is “bored” this is the perfect fix! *select Mondays

HERD Rising 6th Grade The move from Elementary to Middle School can be scary. To ease the transition, The Herd is hosting an informational parent meeting on June 20 from 7:00-8:00 pm. All your questions will be answered because on June 27th, rising 6th graders officially join The Herd!
HERD Home Bible Studies, 7-9 pm Come on over to the Gabbert’s house for a night of fellowship as we dig in to the Word in a fun and intimate setting. These are special nights to remember!
CRASH Freshman Feast, 3-6:30, $15 We will be going and playing Archery Tag, getting surlpees, and having dinner all before your first night in the Crash. The rest of the students will meet up with us at church from 6:30-8:30.

CRASH Home Bible Studies These will be held on Monday evenings from 6:30-7:30 at different homes of people in the ministry. We will give the exact dates and times at the Summer Kick Off!

HERD Intensity 3.0 (July 20, 3 pm - 9 pm) If you like a challenge, dressing up crazy, and studying the Bible this is for you! The theme this go around is: Respect your Elders. Dress up like your 80 years old, break out the walker, and don’t forget to clean your dentures. We are going to study the entire book of 1 Timothy, eat dinner, and play crazy games. All in 6 hours!

Cedar Point - June 25th - $50 7:15am-midnight We will be taking a bus from HPBC to Cedar Point. High school students must be in groups of 3 and middle school groups of 4. There will be mandatory check-ins throughout the day at different points in the park. An unlimited drinks wristband is included in the cost. We have a limited number of tickets. First come, first served!

CRASH College Freshman Farewell, 6:30-8:30pm Join us for a church service where we will be encouraged by some of the soon-to-be college freshman in our last night with the as part of our Student Ministry. CRASH Senior Surprise This overnight surprise will be for those soon-to-be high school seniors. I can’t give you too many details because it’s a SURPRISE. However, you won’t want to miss it! Stay tuned for exact times and cost.

D-Group Party (3-8 pm) The Herd and Crash will celebrate and recognize the hard work of our discipleship students. We are going to meet at the church, head to Ann Arbor to go tubing down the Huron River, and finish the night with dinner at HPBC. The cost is totally FREE!
HERD 8th Grade Launch, 6-9 pm, $20 If you have a rising 8th grader, this even is for them! Details are forthcoming but it's sure to be a great night!
