FOR THE CHURCH FAMILY

EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH PASTORAL TEAM

TODAY you have the opportunity to preview Glorious Impossible. The Concert Choir will be presenting the musical on December 8 and 9. We will meet at 4pm for a preview of our new music for this year, enjoy a delicious potluck supper at 5pm, and then preview the concert at 6pm. You are welcome to join us for the evening. This year’s concert will have parts for speakers, soloists, and non-speaking parts. General choral singers, all parts, are always welcome. A sign-up sheet is on the choir bulletin board right next to the coffee counter. If you have any questions, contact Lynne Z. Please put “concert” in the subject line.

There is a LifeGroup Leaders Training TODAY at 9:30am. Congratulations to Carl and Paula L. on the birth of their daughter. The Master Plan Team is hosting a listening session TODAY at 11:00am to gain input from the congregation. Next week, we’ll debut our new bulletin shell! All of the changes are aimed at the goal of making our bulletin a more helpful tool for guests, and pointing all of our attention to the church website for information, registrations and ministry information. Pick up your issue of Glimpses from the Welcome Center or Church Office brochure racks. This month features the faith of our mothers. Mothers have been central figures in the Christian tradition ever since Mary told Gabriel, “may it be to me as you have said.” The history of the church would have looked very different without these famous moms. Please pray for the Men’s Ministries Leadership Team as they develop opportunities for men to grow in their faith through discipleship, prayer, and accountability. Team members include: Jeremy S. (Chair), Jay G., Pastor Jon MacDonald, Dennis R., Cam S., and Jeff S. Don’t forget to register your child(ren) for Awana TODAY or September 2 in the Welcome Center prior to 2nd and 3rd services. Registration is also available online at www.e-free-family.com or can be done weekdays in the church office. Student Ministries begin September 5 at 6:30pm for all Middle and High School students.

For Adults Second Chances, North Fellowship Hall If you are newer to the church or have a prayer request, please fill out a Connect Card at Guest Services. We’d love to hear from you!
