The 2019 Offering Envelopes have arrived. If you ordered personalized envelopes, they will be in your Sunday School classroom or located on the bookcase across from the church office.

you would like to place a poinsettia in the sanctuary in honor or in memory of a loved one, please provide your name and the name of your loved one by Monday, December 10:
[email protected] or 236-5185. The cost will be $6.00. A bulletin insert on December 23 will list all memorials and honoraria, and you may take your Poinsettia home at the end of the Christmas Eve Service, or on Sunday, December 30.
Saturday Morning, December 15 Breakfast - 8 AM & Cleanup The Band of Brothers will provide breakfast at 8 am on December 15 to everyone who help with leaf-raking and general cleanup of the church grounds Saturday morning. Many volunteers are needed! Bring rakes, leaf-blowers, tarps, etc., if you have any of these on hand. For questions, call John Patterson at 233-2443. Please fill out signup sheet in today's bulletin to help with breakfast headcount.
FBC LONG-SLEEVED T-SHIRTS There are still a few long-sleeved sweatshirts left that can be purchased for a special price of “two for $20”. These might be great stocking stuffers! Please contact Debbie Patterson if interested: 233-2166.
Greeters (portico door) & Welcome Center, Golf Cart Drivers, Nursery Workers, Clothes Closet YOU ARE NEEDED!! We are preparing next year’s schedule for “greeters at the door”, the welcome center, the golf cart drivers and nursery volunteers. 2018 Community Christmas Fund: Each year, we pack 1100 Food Boxes for 550 needy families in our community and here's how you can help:

Donate: We need to raise $30,000 for cost of the food. Checks can be mailed to Galax Fire Dept, 300 W. Grayson St., Galax, VA 24333, with "CCFF" on the memo line Help Pack the Boxes on December 20 at 7pm at Galax Fire Department Help Deliver the Boxes on December 23 at 7am — come to GFD and we will load you up with as many boxes as you want along with address and directions of where to take them.
Give online through Tithe.ly at www.fbcgalax.org/give or download the Tithe.ly app on your cellphone. Select First Baptist of Galax, choose your fund, enter your information, and hit the give button. FBC is charged a small fee for this transaction, and you can opt to cover this fee which is also tax deductible.
Children in grades K-5 are invited to their specially designed worship service at KidzQuest located upstairs. Ask one of our greeters to show you the way!
