Children and Youth Sunday School will end for the summer on June 17.Trivia Day is June 17th at 9:45. All kids in grades 2-5 can compete to test their knowledge of the Bible and the Rotation lessons during the 2017/18 year. Put your thinking caps on and see which grade will be crowned the winner!

Everyone is invited to come see their new retirement home and visit with them before their last Sunday on June 17th. Light snacks and punch will be provided. Their new address is: 7815 General Wright Dr. Fredericksburg, VA 22407. Annual Conference is June 15-17. Bishop Lewis has defined the Annual Conference offering mission areas as: Cambodia, Brazil, Mozambique, Native Americans, Cuba Recovery, Haiti, Puerto Rico Recovery and Moscow Seminary. There is an insert today with the specifics and an envelop provided for your special offering. The United Methodist Men (UMM) are holding a fund drive during the Coffee Hour in the Gathering Space to raise funds to pay for 40 flood buckets and their contents. The buckets are to be delivered at Annual Conference. Donations may be made in the offering or the buckets in the Gathering Space. All men are invited to come to the breakfast on June 9 at 8:30 to help assemble the kits.

Play the Movie – Keep an eye toward future consequences of your decisions. Several Truths As you grow deeper in the faith, you will be inspired to do more. The more you attempt, the more opposition you will encounter. Your success is directly related to your persistence. All of us face something or someone that challenges us. Here are some very real examples: Confronting someone who is behaving badly. Saying no to something that everyone seems to be doing but you know is wrong. Doing an intervention with someone who is addicted to alcohol, drugs, etc. Telling someone they’ve overstayed their welcome… Breaking up with someone because you know they are not right for you… I cannot give you the formula for success but I can give you the formula for failure.
