Grow Book of the Year – Each year Pastor Brad likes to recommend and make available a “Book of the Year” to our church family. He typically chooses devotional books that are timeless classics. The book he is recommending this year is no exception. “This Day with the Master” by Dennis Kinlaw is a book that Pastor Brad has read and benefited from greatly in his Christian walk. We have purchased a supply of these books and are making them available at the Welcome Center for $13.50. If more books are needed, we will order more. More Opportunities Friday Night Lights – Our next event is Friday, January 9th // 6-9 p.m. // Grades 6-12 // Open gym, video games, board games, movie theater, and much more… Road Trip to the North Pole – This Saturday, December 13th, we will be leaving from the Teen Room at 6:00 p.m. We will be going to a drive thru Christmas light display that is sure to put you in the Christmas spirit. Dress warm, and bring a friend! Christmas Party - On Wednesday, December 17th, we will be having a party to celebrate the birth of Christ. This will take place during our usual Worship Gathering time. It will be a joyous celebration!
Worship Tree House Ministries at 10:45 a.m. in Room C-2 Christmas Musical Rehearsal – Every Sunday evening from 4:30 – 5:30. Children who do not attend rehearsals from this point forward will not be able to participate in the musical at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday, December 14 th. Please see Pastor Leslie with any questions. Outreach to Oliver Woods – Immediately following the Christmas party, we will head to Oliver Woods Retirement Village to sing songs and deliver crafts to the residents. A note from Pastor Leslie: Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers while my mother was in the hospital. She was near death’s door at times, but the Lord had His hand upon her, and thanks to your prayers she is expected to make a full recovery. Your notes of encouragement, phone calls, and messages really helped to bring my family and me through a very difficult time, and I am so appreciative of your thoughts and prayers, as well as your friendship.
