Brown Hotel restaurants plan Thanksgiving feasts English Grill and J. Graham Café offer world-class meals Nov. 24 LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 20, 2016) - - - Let the Brown Hotel take care of cooking for your family in style Thanksgiving Day. This unique chance to sit and focus on loved ones starts with a lavish meal in the iconic English Grill crafted by executive chef Josh Bettis on Thursday, Nov. 24, from noon to 4 p.m. But wait, there’s more! An alternate Thanksgiving meal will be available in J. Graham’s Café with a buffet. For more information or to make a reservation, call (502) 583-1234. The English Grill’s Thanksgiving Day menu begins with a knockout seasonal soup: bourbon butternut squash bisque with Kentucky sorghum. From there, it boasts a house-made charcuterie and cheese board, Hot Brown canapés, deviled eggs, fresh seafood, and a choice of beef tenderloin, roasted turkey or seared scallops as entrées. Finish with a plethora of dessert options, such as a buttermilk bourbon cream pie and pumpkin pie. The cost is $69 per person, plus tax and gratuity, with a la carte and buffet options available for children 4 to 12 for $22. J. Graham Cafe’s Thanksgiving Day menu includes options from land and sea including imported meats and crab claws alongside assorted international cheeses, a pickled vegetable bar. A buffet options like spätzle sautéed in herbs and brown butter and green bean casserole with crispy tobacco onions will be available. A carving station will offer traditional turkey and Kentucky ham alongside housemade desserts. The cost is $42 per person, plus tax and gratuity, and $18 for children 4 to 12. Seating times are 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
