I. SCIENTIST HAVE TO CONCEDE THAT GENESIS IS RIGHT. A. ALTHOUGHT MANY WILL NOT ACCEPT THE TRUTH THEY GET CLOSE TO IT.

1. (TIME, DECEMBER 1976) "Most scientists who study the structures and evolution of the universe agree that the Genesis account of creation, in imagining an initial void, may be uncannily close to the truth." 2. (JIM HOLT, WALLSTREETJOURNAL, SCIENCE WRITER) "The universe suddenly exploded into being...The big bang bears an uncanny resemblance to the Genesis command." 3. (U.S. NEWS & WORLD REPORT) "Researchers suggest that virtually all modern men—99% of them, says one scientist—are closely related genetically and share genes with one male ancestor, dubbed Ychromosome Adam. We are finding that humans have very, very shallow genetic roots which go back very recently to one ancestor...That indicates that there was an origin in a specific location on the globe, and then it spread out from there." (THE BIBLE WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG)

(PETER AND PAUL LALONDE, 301 STARTLING PROOFS & PROPHECIES) "About 85% of the rock surface around the world is made up of sedimentary rock, indicating that at some time in the past, the world was covered by water." 5. (SIR FRED HOYLE, PROFESSOR OF ASTRONOMY, CAMBRIDGE UNVERSITY) "The chance that higher life forms might have emerged in this way (through evolution) is comparable to the change that a tornado sweeping through a junkyard might assemble a Boeing 747 from the materials therein." B. This list of quotes could continue for proof texts but space is limited.

II THE BIBLE, THE WORD OF GOD IS RIGHT ABOUT THE HUMAN RACE.

A.

"And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof. And the rib which the lord God had taken from man made he a woman and brought her unto the man. (GENESIS 2:21-22)-(GENESIS 1:27) "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."

B. Almost all forms of complex life have both male and female, such as;

1. Horses

2. Dogs 3. Humans

4. Moths 5. Monkeys 6. Fish 7. Elephants

8. Birds a. If evolution is true, which then came first according to the evolutionary theory, man or woman?

b. If a male came into being before a female, how did the male of each species reproduce without females? c. If each sex was able to reproduce without the other, why and how would they have developed a reproductive system that requires both sexes in order for the species to survive?

III. THE BIBLE IN GENESIS IS RIGHT ABOUT THE UNIVERSE A. Science expresses the universe in five terms;

2. Power 3. Space

4. Matter 5. Motion B. Scientist caught up with the Bible because Genesis sets forth the above mentioned truths; "In the beginning (time) God created (Power) the heaven (space) and the earth (matter) And the Spirit of God moved (motion) upon the face of the waters."

III. MANY OF OUR GREAT SCIENTISTS WHO DEVELOPED KEY DISCIPLINES OF SCIENCE WERE CHRISTIANS. A. Here are a few names of those Christian Scientists;

1. Physics; Newton, Faraday, Maxwell, Kelvin

a. Faraday who discovered electromagnetic induction once read only from the Bible for a sermon, saying his words could add nothing to God's." b. Maxwell who discovered magnetic flux penned these words: "Lord it belongs not to my care, whether I die or live. To love and serve Thee is my share-" c. Kelvin wrote, "With regard to the origin of life, science...positively affirms creative power."

2. Chemistry: Boyle, Dalton, Ramsay a. Boyle was the first scientist to show the difference between compounds and elements. He was a lay preacher.

b. Sir William Ramsay was at one time a skeptic but through searching the Scriptures became a believer. He discovered helium and neon.

3. Biology: Ray, Linnaeus, Mendel, Pasteur

4. Geology: Steno, Woodward, Brewster 5. Astronomy: Kepler, Galileo, Herschel, Maunder (The Roman Catholic church opposed Galileo)

a. Kepler believed, "The chief aim of all investigation of the external world should be to discover the rational order and harmony which has been imposed on it by God."

b. Herschel strongly believed that God's universe was characterized by order and planning. His discovery of that order led him to conclude that the undevout astronomer must be mad. B. "These men, as well as scores of others who could be mentioned, were creationists, not evolutionists, and their names are practically synonymous with the rise of modern science. To them, the scientific enterprise was a high calling, one dedicated to thinking God's thoughts after Him." (Henry M. Morris and Gary E. Parker, What is Creation Science?) C. Sir Isaac Newton—considered his theological writings more important than his scientific writings. He stated, "There is a being who made all things, who holds all things in His power, and is therefore to be feared."

D. Joseph Lister founded antiseptic surgical methods.

1. His contributions to medical science have probably led to more lives being saved through modern medicine than the contributions of anyone else except Pasteur.

2. Lister stated; "I am a believer in the fundamental doctrines of Christianity." E. It is very obvious that Christians do not have to leave their faith at the door of their work but incorporate it into every area of their lives.
