2. Are you ever offended by what God does in the Bible? What should our response to God’s actions be? How do we work through our responses to God’s actions? What do you think of Job 40:1-4 in light of these questions? 3. Think of an instance where you did something God’s way rather than your own. Were there any benefits or reasons that you can see in hindsight that you were unable to see while you were in the situation? 4. Is there any place in your life where you are going about something your own way rather than God’s way because God’s way seems offensive or doesn’t make sense? What does it look like when we truly trust that God is good, loving, and knows better than we do? 5. Have you accepted that God cannot tolerate sin? Have you accepted God’s offer to have Christ bear the curse for sin for you? 6. Take time to pray with your group and consider the severity of our sin and the gracious gift of salvation in Christ. Reflect on Galatians 3:10-14 and praise God for his salvation in Jesus.
