UNIFORM REMINDERS: MONDAY-THURSDAY IMPORTANT DATES: -Shirt: tucked in IDEA embroidered polo (6th-Red, 7thNovember 1:Orange, Honor Roll Breakfast 6th-7th Grades 8th-Blue, 9th- Green) November 2: Honor Roll Breakfast 8th-9th Grades -Pants: Flat front khakis *Both events being held in cafeteria at 7:15am All Black black laces; white socks November 6:-Shoes: Basketball Boysshoes, Try-outs *Athletes are-Belt: required to have their Plain black belt physical turned into Coach Mo. Work-out attire and report cards are needed in hand to try-out. November 10: Early Release at 12:00pm *There will be NO 21st Century programming this day. Please make arrangements. November 20-26: Thanksgiving Break (Campus Closed)

IDEA WALZEM COLLEGE PREP (10/23/17 – 10/27/17) ADA – our average daily attendance for this week:  6th – 97.68 (We Made It!!)  7th – 97.47 (Almost There!!)  8th – 98.07 (8th Grade Rocks!!) –WEEKLY WINNER  9th – 97.88 (Great Job…Keep Pushing!!) 

The month of November is an exciting time for incentives. If your CP scholar is present, on-time and receives no behavior referrals, they will be entered into a drawing to win either Beats headphones or a tablet. Parents if you bring your scholar every day, on-time and scholar receives no behavior referrals, then you (parent) will be entered in a drawing to win a T.V. Communication Trees Attendance is a key to success. If your scholar misses a day, they are missing vital instruction to set them up for success. Let’s make sure our scholars are present every day!!!!

The date for the 6th Grade Field Lesson has changed to November 30th. Students will be visiting Incarnate Word and UTSA. Permission slips will go out by the end of the week. Cost of the trip is $20 per child. Permission slips and money is due November 17th.

Parent Planner Check College is Coming! Brace yourselves. We continue to work daily to ensure your child is on the path to secure admission to the college that best fits them. Please help us by checking their planners daily to see the work they need to do at home to make this happen. Lockers Lockers are coming. They will be available for purchase with Merits. Students will have specific rules for when they can go to their lockers, but they will be assigned this coming Friday Nov. 3rd. Den Captains and 9th Grade Committee Details for our field lesson will be released soon, but before we get that out we need to see which students will be helping us. Applications for the 9th Grade Committee and as well as Den Captains will be going out via email on Wednesday. Be sure to ask your child to take advantage of these wonderful leadership opportunities.

Who: Any parent/guardian interested in supporting our campus and looking for ways to get involved What: Come to the first meeting to meet other interested parents and learn about ways to get involved and support our Wolves! When: Wednesday, November 1 from 4:305:30p Where: Room 219 *Please bring your driver’s license so we can make a copy on site, or bring it to the front desk at your earliest convenience.

 Parent’s please make sure your kids are eating a healthy breakfast every morning and keeping your children hydrated.   

Please take head lice precautions! Flu season is upon us… IT’S NOT TO LATE TO GET A FLU VACCINE!!!
