Overview and objectives of the position:

Reporting to the College Director/Principal (CDP), the Director of Marketing and Admissions (DMA) leads the marketing activities for the College to drive student recruitment in line with the targets included in the College 3-year plan. The DMA works closely with the University Partner to develop global strategic recruitment initiatives, with a focus on developing and conveying the institutional value proposition to market. As part of the college and wider Navitas Europe team, the DMA is required to collaborate with colleagues across the division and the Navitas overseas Source Country Office (SCO) network to meet sales targets and increase conversion rates. With a new CDP on board, the DMA will partner with them to build robust and sustainable relationship with the university partner stakeholders and drive recruitment on behalf of the College and the University. 2.

Key Result Areas:

I.

Lead the College marketing and admissions team to achieve student recruitment targets across markets, intakes and products through the development and implementation of the College marketing plan. Activities can typically include: a. Coordination of inward College Familiarisation Visits b. Training SCO sales teams c. Overseas recruitment visits d. Conversion and student engagement campaigns e. Maintaining relationships with regulatory, government and other advisory bodies

II.

Work with the partner university and other internal stakeholders to develop and articulate the value proposition of the College with an appreciation of market nuances. This includes leading the marketing team in developing strategies and campaigns to promote new, niche or specific products.

III.

Develop and revise, annual and quarterly, student recruitment targets by product and by market to achieve overall College revenue and profit goals by: a. Accounting for destination country regulatory changes and product trends b. Reviewing spend and results from previous period c. Monitoring university partner educational landscape and incorporating into product development d. Mapping assumptions that underpin student growth target e. Ensuring the College recruitment strategy is aligned/re-aligned with Divisional goals f. Ensuring the College and the university partner are aligned in terms of agent strategy

IV.

Ensure the College remains within UKVI and internal guidelines for compliance. This includes accountability for: a. Visa refusal rates b. Visa to enrolment rates c. Ensuring that products and marketing activities comply with regulatory, legal and ethical standards
