CHEMICAL ENGINEERS In the processing of organic compounds, the unique analytical capabilities of the Varian A-60 Spectrometer can be of great value in checking raw materials.. .identifying by-products ...detecting impurities... and monitoring yields.

Because the A-60 can quickly and accurately identify the amount and location of hydrogen within a compound, it is ideally suited for monitoring such common organic functional groups as esters, aldehydes, ketones, carboxyls, alcohols and ethers. Varian's A-60 is a practical instrument because it provides reproducible spectra on pre-calibrated charts. And a technician with only brief training can make routine NMR analyses in a matter of minutes. For complete data on the Varian A-60 write the INSTRUMENT DIVISION.
