2019-2020 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES Our Mission: Providing a quality, early childhood education, through a developmentally appropriate and Christ-centered curriculum, in an atmosphere of Christian love and grace. Quality education is the result of time and talent. Your time and talents directly benefit the children at Day One Christian Academy. 2018-2020 National Lutheran School Accreditation – Cycle 3 The process for National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA) is a 5 Year cycle. Day One Christian Academy has applied to continue this accreditation for the years of 2020-2025. The application and fees were submitted in the fall of 2018. A written self-study report is to be completed by late fall of 2019. A Visiting Team will validate the Self Study Report in Spring of 2020. Volunteers are crucial in the self-study process and to host the Visiting team. The success of the Accreditation process relies heavily on the cooperation of efforts from the church, school parents and community. Please take time to consider how you can best serve in this significant undertaking. Volunteers for each section will meet 1-3 times to complete a 2-4 page evaluation report to submit to the NLSA Consultant for approval.
