WEARY? TOWARD BEING REFRESHED Bob Fox February 26, 2017

2 CORINTHIANS 4:3-6

I enable mediocre Christianity by my striving — when I seek to produce results rather than fostering the Spirit’s leading. I must live these four truths: 1. Satan is humankind’s mortal enemy. He is destroying individuals daily. He can appeal to our heart/senses better than we can! 2. Beginning spirituality, if not anchored to Christ, will turn destructive. 3. Spiritual enlightenment is a miracle I facilitate but can’t produce. 4. God’s glory is unequaled. He displays it in Christ and then us. Such a life looks like this: 1. Lesser causes, rhythms, concerns in my heart tell me I need to invite the Spirit to work. 2. The essential message of my life must be that Jesus is Lord. My life ordered by Him will have maximum impact on others.

4. Read verse five. What are some significant details in Paul’s words there?
