Wellness Policy Upon the recommendation of the Committee on Control of Infectious Diseases of the American Academy of Pediatrics, we ask that all parents please exclude their children from any HG Kids Ministry programming when exhibiting any of the following symptoms: • Chicken Pox (until all lesions have dried) • Cold Symptoms (cough, sore throat, accompanied by fever) • Cough (severe, rapid, persistent, with green or yellow mucus) • Diarrhea (must be illness free for 48 hours) • Difficulty Breathing (wheezing, barking cough) • Headache (if it prevents child’s participation in activities) • Flu Symptoms (fatigue, aches, dry cough, fever, nausea) • Fever (must be illness free for 24 hours) • Lice (until morning after first treatment) • Pink Eye (unexplained redness or other eye infections) • Other Childhood Diseases (scarlet fever, measles, mumps, etc.) • Rash (unexplained or illness related, excludes eczema) • Runny Nose (green, cloudy) • Sneezing (persistent) • Sore Throat (accompanied by other cold/flu symptoms) • Vomiting (must be illness free for 48 hours) • Any Other Communicable Disease Please help us prevent the spread of illness by abiding by these professional recommendations.
