Community Date Nights This summer, you are invited to join us for an intergenerational experience called “Community Date Nights” the first two Wednesdays of June and July. We are excited to take Wednesday night activities and bring them all together to be one faith community. Each Date Night will have a different theme: June 4th - Movie Night (Sanctuary) Cost: A package of water per family system or cans as an individual for Chaneni House. June 11th - Cooking Night (C1) Cost: Free July 2nd - Christmas in July (C1) Cost: A coloring book or gently used book. July 9th - Camping Night (C1) Cost: Free Each night the activities will go from 6:00 - 8:00p. Vacation Bible School Vacation Bible School will be July 28th – August 1st from 6:00 - 8:00p. We think this is a great way to get the whole family involved. This year’s theme is Weird Animals, where children are encouraged to be the unique individuals that God created them to be. [email protected]. UCYC Summer Camp This summer the youth are headed to UCYC for a week of amazing and inspirational fun. If you have yet to sign up the current cost is $350 and you can sign up online at fbcscottsdale.org/ministries/youth. Spots are limited so make sure you sign up today! Nursery Make Over Thank you to everyone who helped with the make over so far. The hard work in the nursery and 2’s & 3’s room continues this week! We will have a dedication of the new space next Sunday, June 1st after second service. Come check out the new look and join us for the celebration. Flashback - WHO IS JESUS? ….When they landed, they saw a fire of burning coals there with fish on it, and some bread…12 Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.” None of the disciples dared ask him, “Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord. 13 Jesus came, took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish. 14 This was now the third time Jesus appeared to his disciples after he was raised from the dead. (John 21:9-14)
