The Filter Funnel. Now you can put Whatman filters in a Whatman filter funnel. It's a better filter funnel. In it, filters filter better. It's inexpensive. It's in three separable pieces so that you can clean it more thoroughly and easily, change support plates (acrylic, polypropylene, PTFE) quickly with little trouble. The other two pieces are lab grade. There are four funnel sizes — 2.5 cm, 4.7 cm, 7.0 cm and 9.0 cm — and five reservoir sizes available. Contact flanges are ground and clamping pressure is just what is needed for a leaktight, positive seal. If you use Glass Microfibre filters, this is the nearest thing to a perfect funnel for them; there's no edge leak and no passage around the filter. It filters better and faster with paper filter circles, too. The Whatman 3-Piece Filter Funnel.
