Volunteer Officer Report October 2018 Alex Bentley – Womens Officer What has been worked on in the past month? After being newly elected at the beginning of October, I have attended the Campaigns Network Meeting and got to meet all the other officers and student-led projects leaders. Since then, I have helped advertise and attended the event set up by Amnesty International for #ToxicTwitter and the Action for Transgender and Women's Rights. I have also met with Kayleigh and Grace to discuss and get the ball rolling for The Reclaim The Night March and Environmenstrual Week and also spoke about other campaign ideas for the year. At the end of this month I met with Fernanda, the newly co-opted Secretariat for the Women's Group and discussed campaign ideas. Successes from the past month and any Reps Wins Fernanda is the newly co-opted Secretariat for the Women's Group and Rici Krieger has put herself forward for the Communications Lead role for the Women's Group. Plans for next month The main focus for this month is to get the Reclaim The Night march organised as we are hoping to hold in within the 16 days of activisms against gender violence (25th November10th December).
